Large water main bursts in Limerick City

Repair work to the damaged large water main will continue throughout the day.The Council said the burst water main resulted in some flooding at the Kilmallock Roundabout. No property was affected by this flooding incident. The floodwaters receded after the main supply was switched off. The affected section of road reopened to traffic at 8.30am and traffic is once again moving smoothly through the area.
