The Cougars’ home season starts September 12 as they entertain Big Ten foe Michigan State.BYU visits Tempe, Ariz. September 19 to face Arizona State and then draws the aforementioned Golden Gophers at Minneapolis September 26.Utah State visits Provo October 2 after which the Cougars host Missouri of the SEC October 10.A battle of Cougars occurs October 17 at LaVell Edwards Stadium as BYU hosts Houston.BYU then visits the Chicagoland area in facing Northern Illinois at DeKalb, Ill. October 24 and faces Boise State on the famed Smurf Turf November 7 at Albertson’s Stadium, following a bye week.BYU next hosts San Diego State November 14 and NCAA Division I newcomer, North Alabama November 21. The Lions are in only their third season as an NCAA FCS school, but have traditionally dominated NCAA Division II.The regular season concludes November 28 at Stanford.
